Dear Wolf Pack,
First and foremost, I want to say thank you for making me a part of your weekends for 8 years! It’s been an absolute blast to be welcomed into your homes, cottages, cars, boats and ice fishing huts. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many cool and interesting people as a result of being the weekend girl at Peterborough’s Best Rock. So I’m a little sad to say this is my last Saturday morning on The Wolf. But really, I’m just a little sad because I’ve been given a great opportunity here Corus Peterborough. I’ve accepted the position as the new morning co-host and news person on the Mike Melnik show on our sister station Peterborough’s Greatest Hits 100.5 The All New Kruz FM. I’ve been at it for just over a month now and I am loving my new job! You haven’t heard the last of me yet here on the Wolf. I will be back from time to time filling in on evenings, weekends and the occasional All Request Saturday night whenever I’m needed and I’ll also be back next Saturday afternoon to introduce the newest member of our Wolfpack! Dani Stover is taking over Saturday afternoons on The Wolf. Some of you commuters out there may already be familiar with Dani as the producer of the Dean Blundell Show on the Edge. She is already a big fan of the Wolf having “summered” and “weekended” here in the Kawarthas for years and she seems to be genuinely excited about joining our team. So I hope everyone will help to make Dani feel as welcome here as everyone made me feel 8 years ago! Again, this is not a good bye just a huge thank you! I’ll be right next door on your radio dial at 100.5 Kruz FM and you’ll probably still get an earful from me on the Wolf every once in a while when I need my rock fix!
