I’m away on vacation for one final week after today, so I wanted to leave you with something that will have (I hope) a lasting impact long after I’ve moved along down the holiday road for those of you who check this space from time to time (and if you do…let me know.)
A 4-minute video PSA (public service announcement) has been produced and released in Britian, but it’s making waves around the world due to its graphic content. And for good reason.
It’s aimed at kids who text while driving. Mind you it’s something all us multi-tasking demons are capable of, but by far the younger generation is more adept at texting than we are, and living on their phones as they do, they’re the target of this, I think, disturbing but effective video.
Sometimes you have to disturb a bit, to make a point. The truth hurts sometimes. Hopefully if enough people see this, there will be fewer people hurting….or worse, in a morgue.
