The legendary Wally Macht stopped by to talk on our wireless mic outside the studio this morning. He was here to promote the mustache-growing group of which he's a member. (see Wednesday's blog). Wally grew a test stache this month; he looks distinguished with or without a mustache. He's one of those lucky guys; good genes.
Wally fist-bumped me when he came into the studio to say hi. I can't say I blame him considering we're in the middle of a pandemic but it does take some getting used to. I was raised to shake hands during a first meeting or when greeting a friend. It has become a reflex action. So to switch to a fist bump will take some getting used to.
I suggested to Lisa and Catherine we all do "the bump" like we did during the 70s disco era. I thought we were to use our buttocks back then for the Bump. Turns out we were supposed to use our hips. That might explain those two restraining orders in '76.
