Hey Petes fans, did you know that now you can listen to every single Petes broadcast pretty well anywhere in the world. For the past several years we have streamed our station via the internet. Now you don't even need a computer to listen to the station. Check out the press release down below and grab yourself one of these adaptors and get ready for plenty of "Spooner shoots and he scores" this year no matter where you are.......
The Ira wireless Internet radio adaptor is now available in Canada.
The device, from Myine Electronics, accesses radio broadcasts on the Internet, allowing users to listen anywhere a wireless Internet connection, a speaker system, and a power source is available. Users can filter by location or genre to find thousands of stations in under a minute, without a computer. The adaptor also boasts a three minute first-time automatic setup.
"There is a lack of good products available for people who are not tech savvy or just busy," said Jake Sigal, principal and founder of Myine Electronics, in the press release. "Ira doesn’t have any unnecessary bells and whistles, and sets up automatically right out of the box without a computer. We believe that with potentially confusing electronics, less is more."
The Ira wireless Internet radio adaptor is available at Future Shop and TheSource.ca for $179.99.
