Off to the Woods

Well...the new trailer's all packed up and ready to go - - our annual exodus to paradise - - Bon Echo provincial park, which will be my "home" for the next 16 days.

As I wrote in my January 22nd blog (the day that I had just reserved this camping trip)...it's a place that really feels like home to me. My parents took me there when I was young. Lisa and I have been camping there for 15 years. Our kids have spent a portion of every summer of their lives there (even as they get older and summer jobs come into play, they still want to be there). Lots of quality family time...friendships made...fishin' expeditions with the dog...and a few walleye and lake trout for the annual fish fry.  Lots of great memories...and more to come over the next couple of weeks.
