Township of North Kawartha Skating Club presents

 

MURDER... with a hint of Ice, showcasing all of Apsley’s local skating talent, this show promises to be a hit from beginning to end.  Come along with us as we investigate all of your favourite Clue Characters and try to figure out which weapon was used and in which room. 

 

Sunday, February 28th at 2:00 pm

It’s About Water Fundraiser & Dance

Amnesty International's Fundraising Dinner

                                  

At Grace United Church(Howden Ave.) on Sunday, February 28th, 2010                        Social - 6 pm, Dinner - 6:30 pm. Tickets should be purchased in advance at Title's Bookstore, Cost - $25 per person, or $15 students/unwaged. The Guest Speaker is Haroon Akram-Lodhi on "The Right to Food".

 

 

The Apsley Winter Carnival,

this weekend!  Saturday from 9 to 4, enjoy the amateur dog weight pull, horse drawn sleigh rides, ski-joring, a kids hockey tournament and more … plus free shuttle rides from the village!  Sunday, return for the pancake breakfast at 9 and the Apsley Skating Club’s presentation “Murder with a Hint of Ice” at 2.  Admission is free to the Apsley Winter Carnival, this Saturday and Sunday at the Apsley Community Centre and Lions Park ... just a short drive up Highway 28!

The Crystal Ball Gala!

 

Celebrating 20 Years of Caring and Beyond gets a monumental boost from the NFL.

 

This year's Gala auction will feature many extraordinary live and silent auction items including a Super Bowl MVP, Drew Brees NFL Autographed New Orleans jersey and a Jerry Rice, Hall of Fame inductee, NFL Autographed 49ers Helmet.
