Family Skate day and Silent Auction
Saturday, April 4th, from  5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Peterborough Memorial Centre
COST: $20/family or $10/person

The 5th annual Antiques & Artifacts Auction, presented by the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario - Port Hope Branch, will be held Sunday, April 5th, 2009 at the Port Hope Town Park Recreation Centre, 69 McCaul Street, Port Hope. On the block will be items ranging from art and antiques to books and furniture, glassware, ceramics and architectural oddments. There will be a tag sale adjacent. Preview 10am. refreshments available.

Trent University Open Houses
Saturday, April 4 & Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days at Gzowski College, 2510 Pioneer Road, east bank of Trent University campus.
This event is open to the community, especially students who are interested in pursuing their post-secondary education.

Norwood District High School Hockey Canada Skills Academy is offering a free on-ice and information session for students entering Grade 9 next year.   The session with Head Instructor Brian Hayton will take place on Tuesday April 7th at 7:30 pm at the Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre.  Please phone 639-1655 ext. 226 at NDHS to register by Monday April 6th.

3rd Annual Open House and Pancake Breakfast

Float Your Fanny Down The Ganny River Race!

Youth Dance
Friday April 3, at the Norwood Asphodel Community Center ages 6-16 from 7-10pm $4.00 at the door

15th Annual “Al on the Roof”.
At the Canadian on Lansdowne St beginning  Friday at noon. There will be a BBQ from 10-3 on Saturday and Jay’s Magic on hand for the kids. All the money raised will go to the Easter Seals Society.

The Peterborough Rec. Baseball League is looking for players for this season. A few of the 7 teams are a bit short this season. The long running league plays at Riverside Park on Friday's and Sundays all season long.  Interested players can contact Daryl Stevenson at (705) 750 1751......
